Ricoh has released the CX3 compact superzoom with a 10 megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor. It offers the same 10x (28-300mm equiv.) optical zoom lens and 920k dot, 3 inch LCD as the CX2 compact, but sees the addition of 720p HD video recording, a ‘Pets’ scene mode and enhanced noise reduction.
