Nikon has released five Coolpix compacts. First comes the P100, the company’s first Full 1080p HD enabled camera. It incorporates a 26x optical zoom lens starting at 26mm, a 3 inch LCD and a 10MP CMOS sensor. Next comes the L110 with 15x (28-420mm equiv) optical zoom lens, image stabilized 12MP CCD sensor and 720p HD video recording. Then comes the S4000 ultra-compact with a 3 inch touchscreen LCD, 12MP sensor and 720p HD recording. Last comes a pair of budget compacts, the 10 megapixel L22 and 8 megapixel L21 that offer 3.6x optical zoom lenses 3 inch and 2.5 inch LCDs respectively and operate with AA batteries.
